It continued pulling open lockers. Some of them simply unlatched, others required them to dig their fingers into the soft metal and peel them open.
Mostly it didn't understand or care about the contents. Human objects of no use. But there were some items they found, by sight or by smell. More ammunition. More first aid spray. The human would need those. And the packets that smelled a little like food. It took them out, bending low to place them in orderly piles on a nearby bench.
There was a plastic thing that smelled like medicine. They put that in the appropriate pile, and continued searching, turning their head every so often to monitor the human.
