At least they weren't going to stand around arguing over an empty vest. Marcus had no idea what was going through the gray giant's head. For now he was willing to continue on behind the giant- not all that different from letting Stefan lead the way, but with less visible anger perhaps.
Marcus had lost track of where he was shortly before the gray giant came to rescue him, and was still not sure exactly where he was because this was not the path he had taken to come here.
