It stared. The human was refusing the added protection. This was not ideal. But they were en route to the guard station. It had checked there already on their sweep. Some infected remained there, which it had not killed yet. There was a risk, but not an unacceptable one.
It decided: It would take the human to the guard station and refuse exit until he was sufficiently protected. That would be easy.
