Marcus was more than a little surprised when the gray giant eventually nodded in response to his question. That was promising. At least one of them had some idea of what was going on, even if he didn't seem to be able to talk about it.
"I have everything out of the vest. I don't need that." And there was no way he was putting it on, as gory as it was. It might have infected blood on it or something. Marcus was not going to risk turning into a zombie by wearing infected clothing. Touching it had been bad enough.
He brought his arm up to cough at his elbow a few times. Luckily there was no blood. "We need to keep going." Marcus only had so much endurance these days.
