No. It did not talk. Humans talked. They talked constantly, as if that was easy. Their faces and heads moved constantly. The muscles twitched and stretched, and its face did much less. Humans gestured constantly with their hands, and it found that difficult too.
It had just been about to pick the human up and carry him when he finally stood.
Ammunition. Would that help protect the human? Maybe. It didn't recognize his clothes. A guest. Client. Words Umbrella used for high-priority humans. Or an unknown intruder.
He was uninfected. That was the only status that mattered for now. it managed to nod, after a long moment. Then it turned and began walking in the direction of a guard station, keeping its pace slow.
