"It will fade." He drew the pain away from Cipher Nine's head with a brief motion of a tendril, taking it into himself and simply releasing it in a single, sharp stab of pain. Now he could continue, tendrils wrapping around Cipher Nine's waist and thighs, flexing and sliding.
