Edwon walked cautiously down the hatch, then even more cautiously once he reached the ground. Now he no longer had any idea what to expect, and his only option was to kick the ground, shifting some earth with his foot, which at least told him what he was walking on. He would have preferred a flat road, those usually had fewer things to trip over. He wasn't looking forward to walking into rocks.

"If it's inhabited, they'll have resources for us to use." Acquiring them might not be easy, but he always found a way. He could ask, or he could steal. "They'll have seen the crash, though, so they'll probably come here soon to investigate."
